Our First Visit to TARA

Dear Friends , Our first visit to TARA at Jamia was more than satisfying and refreshing after a tiring day of college .All of us were novice about the project but we were more than keen about it . After a series of wrong twists and turns we finally reached our destination , thanks Mohtashim :)) .. We met the project volunteers and discussion started with a smacky cup of tea .. yeah in between came some unique suggestions for alias names of ' Chirag '.. In the meanwhile we came to know that all of the children were busy watching movie 'IQBAL" on the laptop. Quiet enthusiastic they were for -'Cricket' , I realized very soon ,no surprises "cricket binds every one in our country".

We were surprisingly pleased to see silence in the make shift mini theatre of TARA .Rampal giving commentaries and reviews in between , with each one of them totally engrossed in the movie , it looked picture perfect theatre for children. We went inside at the intermission and started having brief conversation with the children. They seemed pleased and were elated to see us around , quiet a few of them soon realized that it was a good opportunity to have a joy ride on our shoulders for a while :)) They seemed enthusiastic and so were us , we wanted to see their inner soul and feelings - yeah I was dead right , "It was brimming with confidence and was full of joy with no fear whatsoever".

After an interactive session and plenty of joyrides on each of ours shoulders , It was time for children's favourite activity "Photo Session". Air was filled with excitement with all of us gearing up for a photo shoot .

nice pose .... what say ??

All of us !! And i am the cameraman .. hehe

OOps .. time to bid farewell ...

After so much of fun , we departed on a happy note with air filled with the echo of Bye Bye .. It was such a refreshing experience . I am sure next time around many more of us will be there to feel this different aspect of our life..

Yours truly

Shashwat

hey this reminds me of the moments spent wid GIDF's kids in our college.....v had organised a day full of fun for the unpriviledged kids of Bandra reclamation.....even v palyed the animated movie "Hanuman"....in the same way the lil innocent kids were totally engrosed watching the Pawan putraz stunts....fter d movie there was an orchestra arranged for them...all the songs were played on their request....they felt so important n it was quite visible thru thier elated eyes.....v danced on "kajra res" with the lil kids....they were litrally stunned to see "rich" people dancing so freely with them....God!!!!! they r so cute n charming.....n believe me non of our lunches till date were so satisfying than the one which v had with them sitting on the floor....while leaving our campus the kisses, hugs n the cards made by them were showered on us by the angels of God.....there was this feeling which v can only retrospect by bringing happiness for these lil cute angels regularly......hats off to u guys....gr8 work done n keep going with it.....
