SOJOURN AT "TARA"

On 8th Aug, 2008, we visited TARA..
To understand the pursuit which drive this aid
TARA at Jamia is an endeavor,
Which work towards nourishing the kids of construction labourer.

We were on our way,
Rain was pouring high,
Getting torrential as the time was passing by,
And Chirag was panicking all time high.. :-))!!
Potholes, water-logging and traffic jam added to our woes,
I believe God was testing our determination….but patience was bestowed.

Finally we reached our destination..and met the begetters of TARA,
They shared the stimulant that brought TARA in this sansara..
They shared their ordeals and made us understand,
What it takes to make impoverished kids diligent and ettiquet-equipped.

Kids mustered up in a while,
They welcomed us with a big innocent smile,
They gave their introduction with delirious joy,
After a li’l bit of interaction we soon realized
Some were dynamic, …some were too meek and coy.
Brijesh was exceptionally good in maths and even roted table till 17!!
Rampal came second in his class..and had a peculiar sheen!!
Pramod was a boy with a creative mind ,
And made all by himself a ‘scooter’.
Every kid was special in himself or herself,
Was gifted with some talent or the other.

The memories are still lingering in our minds with a bright shine,
The whole sojourn was enriching and experience for lifetime.
Small kids need our support, warmth and touch of humanity…
Hope we would be able to provide them according to best of our capability.

In the end I would like to say
There is only one life to live,
One life to share,
Only one to say that “we care” ,
So please come forward , lend your helping hand ,
And show that we are a part of one “responsible clan”.
